- To prove to myself that I can do it!
- I hate the way I look to myself and others.
- Loosing weight is for me and not any one else.

- None of my clothes fit, they are all way to tight.
- I will be able to buy more decent clothes that are in fashion and look attractive.

- Its embarassing always going to the fat ladies' department and my children hate it!
- I want to be able to shop at Victoria's Secret.
- It is cheaper to lose weight than to to buy new, bigger clothes.
- I want people to look at me and what I wear.
- No more elastic waists in pants or skirts.
- No more baggy tee shirts!
- I want to wear a pair of jeans.
- My shoes are killing me!

- I want to live!
- Ones health gets better when you loose the extra lbs.
- Generally physically feeling so much better and alive.
- Walking without breathing hard from dragging around all those extra pounds.
- Not being exhausted all the time.
- Sleeping better.
- My body is so out of shape that I can't handle stress the way I used to.
- My cholesterol is out of control.
- It helps control my diabetes.
- I want to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke because of my weight.
- Prevent excessive deposits of fat in the liver.
- Aids in the production of antibodies.
- To properly utilize fats, carbohydrates and proteins in my diet.
- To relieve irritability.
- To improve my concentration, memory and balance
- To mobilize my fat as energy.

- I would like to look good for my husband.
- I want to be a hot grandmother ready to take on the world.
- For my kids sake.
- I don't want to embarrass my children because of my size.
- I am beginning to have difficulty keeping up with my family.
- If something were to happen to me, there is no one to look after my children.
- Our sexlife is non existant.
- I do not want to pass down my bad habits with food to my family.
